Crane Maintenance
Essex employs an expert techinians to service each crane.
In addition, Essex employs experienced welders, who
strictly weld to the A.W.S. D1.1-Structural Steel Code.
Our cranes go through rigorous inbound & outbound inspections
to ensure our customers receive a quality work
ready crane that complies with ASME B30.5. Our service experts know cranes, and keep our fleet of cranes for sale and rent in top condition, as well as any cranes or heavy machinery you are using for your project. They are experienced in working with top industry brands like Manitowoc and Liebherr, and a variety of makes and models.
   
Crane Refurbishment
Each year, Essex invests millions of dollars in order to refurbish our traditional cranes. When neccessary, we will disassemble the crane all the way down to the rotating bed.
Every component is examined by our expert technicians to make sure it meets OEM specifications. In addition, the crane receives upgrades to the engine. Some traditional cranes are even recieving Tier 3 emission upgrades.
The crane then is sandblasted, primed and painted. Finally, Essex does a complete rig up and the crane undergoes rigorous testing.
